ha see the world tour premiere is starting soon.. wah.. but what an exorbitant fee to go watch him lor.. S$1268 onwards... for the silver package.. that's like 4 days 2 nights only... the Gold package by the way is S$2000++ and it includes a dinner with rain haha... well i may be laughing at the idiots out there.. but but.. if i were rich, i'd be an idiot too and join all the fools in the world in embracing this event haha.. but too bad.. i'm not a millionaire... so until i find a pot of gold... i will just have to be a sour grape... then again.. i was just thinking of joining the global fan club haha at S$80.. gosh.. i could do lots of shopping with that money right!!! oh wells... i'll think about it... :)

oh it's been a long time... we've been hanging out at chinatown because we're doing patho now... hmm nothing much to say... haha... finished ENT too... hmm.. a few write ups to do.. but i am too sian to do them... celebrated yj's bday at PS cafe last friday (haha my embarassing experience) and then we celebrated jul's and yj's bday combined on saturday (blah)... okays i am too lazy to type out the rest and because i've already bitched about some issues many times already.. i shall not repeat again..
and because poor handsome's face (aka jx aka B**Bs) is kinda cut off i will post another picture of him haha :) oh that's my new necklace from ecletticaonline.com ha... my sister got the matching earrings... anyways the whole necklace is made of fresh waterpearls of various colours.. except for the blue part (the short strand) haha ok anyways i just like it haha...
There.. now u have a clearer view of his face haha.. and the many tempuras we ate... maybe like 30?!!? haha
and important stuff.. i bought Rain's album.. Eternal Rain haha... well he's coming to singapore.. the asian tour starts Oct 13th 2006... i hope he doesn't come during O&G.. having said that, i think i will be cursed and he'll make an appearance then... bleah... till then... lets enjoy some Rain..

okays i feel like cutting my hair one length haha.. so it wont be so messy.. and straightening it.. but the place i go to.. is under renovation.. so i think i have to wait another 20 days... so i have 20 days to think about it haha..

oh ho ho... it's a rainy sunday, and i havent done any studying this weekend... die lah (can hear kiasu people cheering... someone's lagging behind haha)... oh well.. i've been very tired this week.. and i've also been very full this week... i've been eating alot haha... i just came back from a two and a half hour buffet at hyatt haha... and i was so super full yesterday after lunch and desset at shimbashi soba... and i was also very very full after dinner on wednesday at mezza9 haha.. in any case.. thanks everyone for your wonderful presents and well wishes... you can see that i have indeed become very wise :) now, if only someone will give me a handsome guy haha.. i think i should go read something on the renal system.. boo.. world cup later..

oh my goodness... i can't believe we (my beloved friends from canoeing and our sudden burst of spontaneity) decided to have a picnic afterall... despite my desperate plea "are u all sure u want to have a picnic.. we have to make plans for bad weather as well haha" and so we had the picnic... and i was all hot and sticky and yucky... and the sun was setting... so we gobbled up the food without much conversation in between... and packed up and headed happily and quickly to the nearest airconditioned place... starbucks! and u can be sure, we won't do it again (in singapore), because it's way to hot and humid.. bleah...
and i extracted two of my wisdom teeth... i still have one more.. i think i will wait for my next hols before i get it done..
i added a new thing on my handphone... it was actually a necklace, but i can't possibly wear it.. (or rather i don't know how to) so i made it into a handphone accessory instead haha...
okays.. candice... lets go for an eating spree on monday! haha :)

guys in general do not like girls... esp girls who threaten their position in society... so they aim to rid them asap... they will fish them out like preys... skewer them and then devour them.. till there's nothing left of them... and then continue to bitch about them... this is what i've learnt during grand rounds... whatever... they should wait for the day we (girls) do the same thing to them twice over hmph...
on a lighter note, chinatown is a great place to shop... it shouts "cheap cheap cheap, can bargain!"

alrights.. the elections came, i voted and it has ended... time to get on with life haha..
well voting for the first time was interesting... my polling station was PeiCai Sec School which is like beside ZhongHua Pri Sch which was also another polling station... anyways i walked wrongly.. and i had to crawl out sheepishly from the bushes to get to the correct polling station... but i did a good deed.. there was this old ah pek in front of me looking very blur (i was feeling damn blur also, just that i tried to look as if i've done it ten times haha), and then this indian lady asked him for his IC and polling card... so she went "IC, uncle, IC" and she went on for like four to five time... alamak.. the uncle doesnt understand u lah... so being well trained... and knowing that most old ah peks are abit deaf.. i shouted from behind.. "uncle.. teng ki (ic in hokkien) ah" haha.. and immediately.. he went "orh... teng ki har.. " haha i am so well trained..
and... whilst i was waiting in queue to vote.. there was this ah beng who finished crossing out his choice.. but he didnt know that he had to place his vote into the ballot box.. so he passed his paper to the polling agent at the table.. and he didnt even fold it lah.. haha.. too bad.. i was too far away, couldnt see his choice haha...
okays.. that all aside, i think i should really go to korea.. but i havent booked anything lah! siao liao... ok ok i'm off.. haha

ha i was thinking of going for a holiday.. so yesterday i was surfing friendsoftimor.com, and today, i was surfing the korean website.. and they featured all the sites that u can visit (as in the tv drama sites), well i guess most people want to visit the jewel in the palace site, the autumn in my heart site, or the winta sonata site... but nah..i don't want to.. i want to visit this HOUSE!!! the one in FULL HOUSE!!!
and a little info about the house:
Full House was filmed in the Gwangyeok-si area of Incheon. Located near Incheon International Airport, it's a ten-minute boat ride from Sammok Harbor to this quiet, seashore getaway. Unlike other filming locations in Korea, this is an actual house. Made mostly of wood, this house, made especially for the miniseries, cost approximately one million US dollars to build. The beachfront property looks out onto open waters, with elegant views that could be used on any postcard. Many fans of the miniseries make a pilgrimage to this now famous home. Nearby sightseeing locations include Jogak (sculpture) Park on Modo Island; a bridge connects these two islands.
so inspired, i decided to post more pictures of the lovely house... actually.. it's my dream house (if i don't think about the cleaning, if not i want a small little house, the smaller the better, less to clean... haha)

okays that's the cast lah... i didn't know where to fit the other handsome guy (daniel) in.. so i guess i just had to leave him out haha..
now for the filming sites haha...
1. Mt. Hallasan in Jeju-do
If you want to walk up to the summit like Sam-soon, you’ll need to start your hike no later than 9 or 10 o'clock in the morning. The major hiking trails are the Seongpanak and Gwaneumsa trails. Sam-soon took the Seongpanak trail, which takes nine hours round trip. haha walk until legs break also haven't finish walking lah.. i trekked in tasmania for like 6 hours and my legs almost died haha... 
2. Grand Hilton Hotel Coffee Shop
Seriously, i don't want to visit a hotel, but then she (Sam Soon) got dumped here and matchmaked here a thousand of times mann haha :)
3. Hongik University SU Noraebang
Like to sing karaoke right amy... there this is the place where they sang lor.. haha siao... in fact, most karaoke scenes in ALL korean tv serials are shot here haha...
4. Gwanghwamun Youngpoong Bookstore
that's the bookstore where they went shopping at lah.. nothing much.. unless u want to buy the korean version of the book MOMO...
5. The Plaza Hotel
okays, that's the hotel that his mother owns in the show haha... and the facts: All the cakes Sam-soon created were actually made by the pastry chef at the Plaza Hotel bakery. Currently, the bakery sells a special Sam-soon cake as well as a Sam-sik cake. The hotel also offers a Sam-soon package.
6. Duchamp
This is the high-end bakery Duchamp in Apgujeong-dong. The pastry chef is a Cordon Bleu-trained Japanese chef who makes 60 different types of cakes. Along with the huge variety of cakes, you can also enjoy chocolate, bread, and drinks. The bakery has two floors as well as an outdoor terrace. The scenes were shot at the center table on the first floor. (siao, even tell u the exact table?!?!)
7. COEX Aquarium
This is the aquarium they visited... where the silly sam soon pig appeared as that prof haha..
and last but not least...8. Todai Restaurant Bon Appetit
Todai is where the Bon Appetit restaurant scenes were shot. In the drama, Jin-heon owned the restaurant and Sam-soon worked there as a pastry chef. During filming, the restaurant was closed, and afterwards it reopened as TODAI, a sushi buffet chain restaurant. The exterior of the building is the same as when it was filmed, but the interior was redone. The downside is that prices are rather high.

ha... anyways... i couldn't be more excited... the general elections are here.. well that's not exactly the point.. but the point is i get to vote!!! *yipee* long long ago... i was under bradell heights and my mp was Mr Goh Choon Kang, and i've never heard of him since that elections... cos there redrew the electorial boundaries and put me under marine parde which was, really, no where close to serangoon, and i've hardly ever gone there haha... well not that it wasn't good, my sister LOVES Mr Goh Chok Tong but.. he would never be contested right haha... 
So in any case, i've moved... and i am now under Aljunied GRC, well not that it's very near serangoon or anything, but at least it's closer and well i get to vote... haha... i wanted to go for the PAP rally last night at the serangoon stadium, but i had to meet wenshan and huiling for dinner... anyways, huiling is even more excited than me about voting, she wants to dress nicely tmr and go to the market in the morning to meet the MPs and shake their hands and hopefully be on tv mann haha..
But my point is... about the lady on the left, Mrs Lim Hwee Hua, see, i've actually also been wanting to meet an MP haha.. and the point is... she came to my freaking door step about 2 plus hours ago... and no freaking one at home opened the door (my mother wasn't at home) and why why why??? Because me, my sister and my father were all sleeping!!! and well it's actually my fault, cos i actually heard someone knocking the door just that i thought i was dreaming... alamak...
well it's ok, there's still a week to the elections, i'm sure she'll pop by again, maybe i will go to the serangoon gardens market tmr morning, i'm sure some of them will be there!
okays, and dinner was quite fun yesterday, apart from the fact that i decided to be called a little black bird haha... okays.. till next time...

the weather has been damn unbearable... and worst of all.. we're at yishun polyclinic... and nopes.. it isnt right beside the mrt station... it situated on a plot of land that resembles a freaking desert, and there's also this huge field that u have to cross... and there's only one slow bus that stops in front of that place... and we've been having to travel from one place to another as if we all drive cars... and if u think the sun is bad... it's worse when it rains... cos u'll be stranded there.. even the umbrella is of no use...
ok... these few days have been interesting.. today.. we had a "extended small cg bonding session"... very funny and amusing haha...
okays i cant wait for electives.. hmm..

i've been wanting to blog.. but everytime i am blogging, my father steps in and he jinxes me and the comp hangs.. so irritating... anyways i hope it doesn't this time cos he's in here talking and talking again..
ok the new year is here mann.. ok a little late i must say.. and i've been so bored, i am contemplating whether i should start studying for my cofm haha.. siao mann.. i watched memoirs of a geisha yesterday... what's with the blue eyes.. and the ai4 mai3 ai4 mai3 spirit (according to huiling) haha...
and i've been such a sucker, after that amy cheong told me that she saw that dumb rain waterbottle thing, i actually got it!! siao siao... and that amy again.. told me that they still had the my lovely sam soon dvd at novena square and i resisted, after a disappointing visit to toapayoh and united square... but but lo and behold.. i went to novena square the next day.. but too bad.. that lady was like "oh mai4 wan2 le4".. damn it damn it...
ok yes.. and i went to The Line with amy haha to celebrate my own version of the new year with lots of food and chocolate, and of cos came down with a sore throat and cough and flu haha.. ok some pictures... hehe.. i want to watch that dumb chinese movie called shopaholics.. (cos i am just so bored)...
and for the canoeing gathering.. pot luck... u know i cant cook lah ok.. i always did the decorations part doing home econs in sec2 lor.. u can ask my poor partner xinling.. she did the cooking and washing mann... :(

woo hoo... back in sunny and clean singapore...
well actually we got back last night from the extremely sunny and dusty thailand yesterday haha... it was absolutely fantabulous mann!!! from the crazy mad shopping in bangkok to the dirty and polluted but sometimes clear waters in pattaya... to the time i was switched from grenade master to Beer Aunty by gamemaster Sun... anyways.. it was great... i loved it!!!
and thanks to all who made the trip possible (13 of them to be exact)
